They showed up on time and did a a good job of cleaning our furnace air ducts but it did take a little longer than I thought it would. But they did clean up really well after themselves. I would definitely call them for future service work on our Trane furnace and air conditioner.

This darn water heater has been causing me all sorts of problems. At 12 years old it started leaking. Hurlburt replace it immediately. This is why I've been doing business with this company for over 20 years! Liam was Great.

Responded to warranty service call for condensate leak. Identified wet furnace filter and rust residue caused by improperly pitched chimney creating backflow. Performed necessary rework on chimney components to correct drainage issue and ensure proper condensate flow.
Responded to no heat call for 12-4 NG Gibson furnace. Diagnosed open limit/rollout switch fault with furnace sitting cold. Found main limit switch with abnormal resistance (4-5 ohms) showing signs of overheating, and capacitor measuring 2 μF despite 5 μF rating. Noted additional issues including oil-leaking blower motor, dirty blower wheel restricting airflow, evaporator coil buildup, and intermittent burner ignition. Assessment suggests oversized furnace (80,000 BTU) for the home's ductwork system.
Performed scheduled maintenance tune-up on IBC HC boiler system that provides hot water and serves as backup to geothermal system. Cleaned heat exchanger thoroughly as part of Family Rewards agreement maintenance. Inspection revealed system in good working condition with no issues or problems identified.
Diagnosed 13-year-old Comfort Maker furnace making unusual burner noise and identified failing combustion blower bearing. Inspected heat exchanger and noted suspect areas but no current penetration. Advised customer against investing in replacement parts due to age of unit and common heat exchanger failure pattern with this model. Scheduled service advisor visit for replacement options.
Performed preventative maintenance service on Lennox EL296UH070XE36B furnace. Comprehensive tune-up included verification of ignition sequence, burner operation, and proper airflow. Conducted electrical testing using clamp meter and completed full safety inspection. Unit is functioning efficiently with no operational concerns identified.
Responded to a call regarding inconsistent water pressure issues in basement plumbing system. Upon inspection, found significant sediment buildup in the 5-year-old pressure switch component of the Wells system. Removed old switch and installed new 4060 pressure switch to restore proper system function and consistent water pressure.
Diagnosed Hot Dawg heater with pressure switch error code causing intermittent operation. Found plugged pressure switch hose, cleared obstruction and restored proper pressure sensing. Performed comprehensive system inspection with all components verified in specification. Unit now functioning properly with normal heating operation.
Diagnosed LP furnace failure showing pressure switch error code. Upon inspection, identified significant cracks on burner face plate and confirmed a substantial hole in the heat exchanger passageways via camera inspection. Customer declined both heat exchanger replacement and service advisor visit, indicating they would pursue furnace replacement with another provider.
Inspected 21-year-old natural gas furnace reporting intermittent heat. Diagnosed weak flame code and cleaned dirty flame sensor. Further inspection revealed multiple perforations at the primary-to-secondary heat exchanger junction, which were visually confirmed with the homeowner. Due to compromised heat exchanger integrity, recommended complete system replacement and scheduled consultation for same-day quote.
Diagnosed a 5-6 year old furnace with insufficient heating due to a weak flame code. Investigation revealed a completely rusted out roof jack on the exhaust and intake, causing the furnace to draw in exhaust fumes. Temporarily cleared ice buildup around intake, but determined the severely corroded component requires replacement to restore proper combustion and heating function.
Performed diagnostic inspection on LP furnace with no heat complaint. Identified multiple critical issues: control board failure (no power to combustion blower), severely plugged burners, and cracked heat exchanger beneath burner inlet. Tagged unit out of service due to safety hazards. Customer advised of findings and scheduled for replacement consultation due to age and condition of equipment.
Installed new comfort height toilet as requested during scheduled return service. Completed installation of two-piece porcelain toilet against wall, ensuring proper positioning on the ceramic tile flooring. Job completed within allocated 2-hour timeframe.
Performed scheduled furnace tune-up on 26-year-old Payne furnace. Combustion analysis showed CO readings reaching 185 PPM (below immediate tag-out threshold but concerning). Identified blower motor with excessive play and capacitor reading 2.2/5. Educated homeowner on proper air filter replacement, orientation, and the significance of elevated CO readings. Recommended scheduling next maintenance in early fall to address potential safety concerns before heating season.
Diagnosed and repaired Vanguard 80-gallon electric water heater that was only providing warm water after customer's well shock treatment. Accessed electrical components, replaced thermostats and elements to restore proper heating function. Provided customer with options for both repair and replacement of the unit.
Inspected RTU with suspected compressor issues. Verified compressor windings tested good, but identified abnormal operational noise indicating impending internal mechanical failure. Compressor was temporarily operated for diagnostic confirmation. Parts request submitted for replacement compressor estimates per customer's request.
